Best Prepping Plans Ever! 90 Day & 1 Year
Well, they’re pretty darn good anyway in my humble opinion.
Whether you’re new to prepping or a seasoned prepper, everyone needs plans. Why? Because, plans let you know how well prepared you are, they keep you on track and they can save you a ton of money. I know. Just read How to Avoid My Rookie Mistakes.
It’s also important to remember that we all go through stages in our prepping lives. The Homestead Dreamers put out a great post “The 5 Stages of Prepping” Number 4 on their list is “Planning and Implementation”. Here they make a great point about not getting “burnt out” prepping. These plans will help avoid that. They break everything down into manageable chunks and their 1 year plan has tasks broken down by months and the weeks of the month. They eventually lead to what Homestead Dreamers called Stage 5 “Comfortable Spot of Maintenance”.
Think about it; Once you’ve completed these plans, you will then be in a situation that just needs, as they put it – a “Comfortable Spot of Maintenance”; at least as far as food and water supplies. I thought I was already in Stage 5 until I read their plans. I took inventory of my stock using their check list and found I was lacking in a lot of areas. And before some say that’s true of any plans, I compared my plans to theirs and found things we use but I had left out. I was also just guessing at the amounts I would need. I wasn’t far off but I hadn’t done a real inventory – because I didn’t have one. I do now.
There’s a lot more to prepping than just food and water of course, but they’re at the top of the list. Having the most important part of prepping boiled down to just some maintenance, will give you lots more time to develop your other prepping plans.
So, here are some great plans to help you fulfil your prepping needs. Here’s the 90 day food and water plan. And Here’s the 12 monthly plan. I’ve started using both already and I already feel much more in control of my prepping plans.
Disclosure: I am not in anyway affiliated with LDS. These to me are just some great plans.
