When the Cities Fall Apart, These Strategies Will Keep You Alive
I know, unthinkable isn’t it? The collapse of civilization I mean, and even if only temporary. I’m an optimist and don’t think it will happen; at least not on the scale some believe. But we’d be foolish to ignore the warning signs. If that were to happen, here’s some ideas to keep you alive.
Barely noticed in the recent attack on Brussels, was the revelation that a guard at a nuclear facility was murdered and his security badge stolen. Then two workers were identified as supporting ISIS. Add to this, Iran and North Korea are developing atomic weapons and missiles with ever-increasing range. In response, Middle East countries, like the Saudis, are starting to look at developing their own – a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.
Whether a nuclear strike or a man-made nuclear disaster, the results would be catastrophic. All we have to do is look at Japan’s recent nuclear disaster. We should study Japan’s disaster and learn from it. Where is your nearest nuclear facility? Do you have plans for if the worst should happen?
I recently posted about one man’s experience of supply shortages during hurricane Katrina – and he lived 150 miles away! He felt the effects of that disaster for months. The local residents are still dealing with the aftermath.
Scientists tell us it’s just a matter of time before another major earth quake strikes somewhere in America. There are warnings of a possible major volcano in Yellowstone. And NASA says it’s only a matter of time before a major meteor or comet strikes the earth. Lately there have been several near misses that astronomers never saw coming till it was too late. Added to all this, are the normal hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and snowstorms we regularly experience. It’s spring time now and that means flood time.
