Why a Kindle? Or any e-reader for that matter? Because they hold thousands of books, are cheap, small and light weight. They easily fit into a backpack for bug out situations or an EDC bag. And you can get thousands of books for free!
What books should you put on your Kindle? You can check my downloads page to get started. And Grey Wolf Survival has a recommended list. You can also Google “free survival books” and find tons more. I’ve downloaded hundreds of these survival books onto my iPad and organised them into categories such as “First Aid”, “Small Engine Repair”, etc.
Don’t stop there with survival books. You might want to stock up on a variety of books to keep you occupied in a disaster situation. Project Gutenberg has over 50,000 ebooks you can download for free! They include the Classics, children’s books and many other genres.
