Survival Uses for Everyday Items – Your First EDC Bag
There’s no doubt that survival and prepping gear can get expensive, so I’m building my gear and supplies up over time to spread the costs. But I’m reminded of the old saying (I love old sayings as they’ve stood the test of time), “Start right now, right where you are and with what you have”. With that in mind, here’s a post from Survivopedia on the survival uses of every day items you probably already carry around.
One of the first things I wanted when I started prepping was an Every Day Carry (EDC) bag. But I didn’t have and couldn’t afford one of those backpack type ones. Remembering that old saying, I looked around and found an old laptop bag with lots of separate compartments and small zip pockets – perfect! I then looked around for things I already had to put in my new EDC bag. Literally within minutes I had an EDC bag!
So, why not start your EDC or bug out bag right now! Look around for a bag, any bag will do for now, even an old gym bag. Then head over to Survivopedia and use their list as a guide to put together your first EDC bag. In this day and age, EVERYONE should be carrying and EDC bag.
